I’ve been getting my photo “nerdiness” on the past few weeks. I bought a film camera, a box of b&w, and all the chemicals to process my own film (in my darkroom… aka… bathroom with a blanket over the door). I’ve got to say that this has been one of the most rewarding adventures in photography yet! I absolutely love the gritty character that the film adds to my portraits.
These images have not been altered in any way (except for a few little spot corrections from junk in the scans). So for the most part, these images are straight off the camera. I also did all of the film processing myself with llFord 3 Developer and Fixer Solvent in a daylight processing tank.
