Boone Hall Plantation is now officially one of my favorite places for a wedding! We visited last weekend and the whole time we were there we kept telling each other, “Man, I wish we had a bride and groom to put there… and there… and there…”
A bit of history: Boone Hall Plantation has been open to the public since 1956 and is one of the America’s oldest working, living plantations. The plantation is also a destination spot for film makers and photographers. Popular films such as “North and South,” “Queen” (the sequel to “Roots”), and the “Notebook” were all filmed on the plantation.
