Rachel and I like to occasionally go out on what we affectionately call a “camera date.” This past weekend was one of those wonderful occasions. We packed up our Fuji Xpro 1 and Fuji X-E1 and drove up to Davidson College to have our date. Below are a few of our fave images from our time together.
When we go on these kinds of dates, we like to push our creative potential by limiting our technical hinderances. Meaning we pick a camera and a lens and make it work for us. Rachel’s choice was the Fuji X-E1 with 18-55mm f2.8-4 kit lens. She’s affectionately hated this camera in the past (“It’s too picky!” She would say). I chose my new Fuji Xpro 1 with a FD lens adapter to use my manual Canon FD 50mm f1.8 lens (roughly 65mm equivalent on a crop sensor body). We really enjoyed the results!
